Upper East Side, NYC | Engagement

I have a very special place in my heart for the Upper East Side. I had my very first apartment on my own as a grown up here (without roommates!) when I moved to the city back in 2007. I had a cute railroad apartment on 75th and 2nd on the very top floor of a 6th floor walk up. Talk about a daily workout! The Upper East Side was also where our family became a family; with a husband, a dog, and our first son joining in.

So when Annie and Jory wanted to do their engagement session in their neighborhood, I LOVED the idea! It really felt like coming home this past fall. The streets were so familiar and I loved that I was able to walk through the streets on a picture perfect day, early in the morning as the UES was just waking up for the weekend. We got a chance to walk through and “house hunt” and capture Annie and Jory as we showed off their neighborhood on the best day. We hit up The Met and even got a chance to duck into Central Park for some perfectly intimate photos.

I’m really looking forward to their micro wedding this coming up May and their large celebration in 2021! Absolutely adore these two and can’t wait to share such momentous days with them!
