Lower East Side, NYC || Elopement

With all the uncertainty up in the air, Yuki and Aiden made the difficult decision to postpone their large celebration to another year. But waiting that long to make it official was simply not an option. Being married on an auspicious day was really important for their families so they chose to elope at the Hindu temple in Queens with Yuki’s immediate family

Yuki and Aiden actually met when they were teaching at a school in the city. When they started hanging out, the nights often ended with Aiden walking Yuki home. Or at least kind of. To make sure that Aiden had good intentions, she actually would have him walk her to the south entrance of Washington Square Park, when really she lived over by the Bowery Ballroom. Not quite in the same neighborhood. We walked the same path together on an incredibly warm mid-October day to grab the most epic portraits after they eloped earlier that day as they were surrounded by family.

Congrats Yuki & Aiden! xo
