Woolverton Inn, NJ | Wedding

I love this story of Pauline and Mike.

Pauline had moved to NYC and made adult friends, who had her tag along to the Firefly Festival in Delaware in 2013. The plan was to meet up with some of their college friends and in the mix was Mike. Low and behold, they hit it off and a few years later Mike rang in Bastille Day with an epic proposal.

Pauline with French roots celebrates France’s National Day every July 14th and Mike had convinced Pauline into thinking they were all headed to do brunch with friends at a French restaurant in the city to celebrate. He suggested a walk through Washington Square Park in the West Village. He stopped Pauline in front of the fountain and like any classy guy, got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever.

He had more planned and the surprise didn’t end there. He then walked them to a separate location where they were surprised with friends from near and far and Pauline’s family to celebrate not only Bastille Day but their engagement.

On September 7th, 2019, in front of their closest friends and family from near and far (including France and Korea!), they had the most perfect day at the Woolverton Inn where they promised their lives to each other. Pauline is probably one of the calmest brides I have ever encountered in my career on their wedding day. Mike besides his clear talent to grace a GQ cover, was overtaken by his emotions when he got his first glimpse of her during their first look. He was blindfolded with a piece of Pauline’s dress that was altered. One of MANY perfect details to their day. Their love that day was palpable! Everyone could feel it from the moment Pauline walked down the aisle and they both said their I do’s to their EPIC outdoor silent disco after party.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Boyd! To many years of wedded bliss and adventures to come.

I look forward to experiencing so many more “firsts” with Mike. We have so much to look forward to together. It’s exciting that this is only the beginning.

Pauline loves me unconditionally and always motivates me to be my best. I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with her and I can't wait to see what adventures we have in store next!
