Upper West Side || Engagement

Grace and Bryan grew up close to each other, but it wasn’t until a post college, St. Patrick’s Day party on the Upper West Side that finally brough these two together.

We may have shot on the hottest day of the summer last year but you would never know by looking at these colorful photos.

When I arrived early to Lincoln Center, I stumbled on this art installation on the north side of Lincoln Center just across the breezeway from Juilliard. And I knew immediately that I need to incorporate it somehow into their shoot. When Grace showed up in the most PERFECT dress, I couldn’t have planned it better. It matched beautifully to what I was envisioning in my mind.

These two are the sweetest souls; Grace is a principal at an inner city school and Bryan is described as “one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet” by his closest friends and family members. I was absolutely honored, not only to capture them during the summer but also for their incredibly beautiful fall wedding at The Hartwood, an exclusive nature preserve just outside of the city.
